About Escape Hunt Fremantle
Escape Hunt Fremantle is a live escape room venue upstairs on The Piazza, just off South Terrace. Groups pick from seven indoor rooms, each built around its own story, and have 60 minutes to search for clues, solve puzzles and complete the mission. A game host briefs the team first and hands out hints whenever the group gets stuck. The rooms range from beginner level to experienced. First-timers tend to start with Aladdin & The Magic Vault, Alice in Puzzleland or Blackjack's Treasure, while regulars head for The Young Wizard's Quest or the Pharaoh room. Most rooms take two to six people, and the Wild West and Sword rooms each hold up to ten, so big groups split up and race each other. For something outside, the venue runs outdoor adventures through Fremantle that mix a city walk with augmented-reality clues on a tablet. These can be booked alone or paired with an indoor room for a longer event. Party and team packages cover birthdays for ages 16 and over, kids' birthdays for ages 7 to 15, hens and bucks groups, Christmas parties and corporate team building for up to 100 people. Each package includes a dedicated event planner, a game host, digital invitations and group photos with dress-up props at the photo wall. Groups wanting catering or a meal afterwards can have a customised event put together by the team, who can also arrange lunches or dinners at nearby restaurants and pubs.

Birthday packages for ages 16 and over run from $40 a person for one room to $70 a person for two, with outdoor quests at $35 or $65 combined with a room. Kids' party pricing (ages 7 to 15) is from $33 a child.

How much does an escape room party at Escape Hunt Fremantle cost?
The Party Escape package is $40 a person for one room, and the Mega Party Escape is $70 a person for two rooms. Outdoor Party Quest is $35 a person, or $65 combined with an indoor room.
How many people can play together?
Most rooms take two to six players, and the two large-format rooms (the Sword and Wild West themes) take four to ten. Party and team packages suit groups of 8 to 100, with larger groups spread across several rooms at once.
Is there a minimum age?
The rooms suit players from age 7, and under-7s join free alongside at least two paying players. Anyone 12 or younger must have a teammate aged 16 or older with them in the room, and kids' parties need a supervising adult in each room.
How long should we allow for the visit?
Each room has a 60-minute limit, and the full visit takes around 90 minutes with the briefing and a group photo. Arrive 15 minutes early. The two-room party package runs about 2.5 hours and the indoor plus outdoor combination about three.
Is food or drink available?
All players get complimentary water, and soft drinks can be added to a party package for $3.50 a person. There is no catering on site, but the team can arrange discounted lunches or dinners at local restaurants and pubs.
