About Paint and Sip Perth
Paint and Sip is a social art studio on Hutton Street in Osborne Park, run by artist Constance Barboutis. An experienced artist demonstrates each step at the front of the room, so even people who have never held a brush end up with a finished canvas to hang at home. Each guest is set up with an easel, apron, brushes, acrylic paints and a stretched canvas to keep. A welcome drink is poured on arrival, tea, coffee and some soft drinks are on hand throughout, and groups are free to bring their own food and alcohol. Resin art classes, such as cheeseboard and coaster pours, run alongside the painting nights for anyone after something different. Private bookings cover hens nights, baby showers, kids' parties and corporate team events, and the studio describes a painting night as a good idea for a birthday too. Baby showers include backdrops, games, prizes and a onesie or bib for each guest to decorate, while corporate packages can be fully catered or kept BYO. Groups are welcome to arrive early and add their own decorations to the room. Private groups need minimum numbers, which vary by package. Dates are confirmed once the studio has quoted the booking and talked through what the group would like to include.

How much does a private party at Paint and Sip cost?
Hens and corporate events start from $55 a person for groups of 35 or more, and baby showers start from $55 a person with a minimum of 12. Kids' parties are $49 a child with a minimum of 20 children.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. Every guest gets a welcome drink on arrival, plus tea, coffee, water and some soft drinks, and groups can bring their own food and alcohol. Corporate groups can also choose a package with food and wine included.
Do we need any painting experience?
No experience is needed. An artist demonstrates each stage of the painting, from mixing colours to choosing brushes, and all the materials and an apron are supplied.
What happens at a baby shower at the studio?
The studio sets up backdrops, games and prizes, and guests decorate a baby onesie, bib or singlet. Washable, non-toxic fabric markers are available for anyone who would rather avoid paint, and the group can arrive early to add its own decorations.
What is the cancellation policy for private bookings?
If a lockdown or a positive test stops the organiser or the guest of honour from attending, the studio holds the funds and moves the private booking to a later date, with proof required.
