About Budget Marquee Hire
Budget Marquee Hire is a Perth company that started out to serve people planning a party on a moderate budget. It began with small and medium-sized marquees and then added a luxury range of marquees and cabanas, so the same business can cover a backyard birthday and a styled wedding ceremony. The standard range comes in several sizes, including 3 x 6 and 4 x 8 metre package deals, and is designed for hirers to put up themselves. If you'd rather not, delivery and set-up can be quoted. Weekend hires don't need to be rushed back – the Monday after is fine. The luxury range is always delivered and installed by the team. Persian and Indian-style marquees with draped curtains work as ceremony shelters, lounge areas or dining spaces, and are booked mostly for weddings and corporate functions. Lighting products can be hired to add atmosphere once the sun goes down, and the white 4 x 8 metre standard marquee comes with white walls. Hirers book them for baby showers, baptisms, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, garden parties and family get-togethers. They sit on hard surfaces with the supplied pegs and ropes, or on slopes of up to about 20 degrees, and can be joined onto a patio, pergola or garage to stretch the entertaining area.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to set the marquee up myself?
Standard marquees are made for DIY use, but delivery and set-up can be quoted on request. Luxury marquees and cabanas always include delivery and installation.
Is a bond charged on the hire?
Yes. Every booking carries a security bond that varies by product, and it is returned within four days after the hire period if there are no extra costs.
How is a booking confirmed?
Once you choose a marquee and a date, a small deposit holds the booking. The remaining amount is due no later than two weeks out from the event.
Can a marquee be put up on pavers or sloping ground?
Yes. Pegs and ropes are supplied for hard surfaces, and the legs handle slopes of up to about 20 degrees, although they do not adjust.
Can I heat the marquee on a cold night?
Electric heaters or lower-style gas heaters can be used, as long as there is good airflow and a safe gap between the heater and the structure.
