About Known Associates Events
Known Associates Events is a corporate events business working from an office in Subiaco. The team plans and produces business events of every scale, from intimate client dinners to large conferences, gala evenings, product launches, exhibitions and brand activations. Clients bring the goal and the guest list; the team turns that into a concept, a design and a run sheet. The work is end to end. Event management sits alongside in-house design, production and strategic communications, so the same people shape the creative idea, source the suppliers, manage the budget and run the event on the day. Past projects include themed client parties, a launch party with a custom-coloured carpet sourced to match the brand, a yearly charity gala and a company's 50th year celebration for around 300 guests at Perth Arena, complete with a magician and live fashion illustrators. Styling is a big part of the appeal. Photos from their events show sculptural stage backdrops dressed with florals, styled long tables, cocktail stations, pop-up installations such as a bright yellow bookshop, rainbow-painted stairs for a city activation and cultural performances at waterfront functions. Known Associates Events works alongside its sister brand, Known Associates Australia, which is 100% Aboriginally owned and focuses on large projects and inclusive corporate events. The group describes its approach as relaxed and good-humoured, with a strong focus on relationships with clients, guests and suppliers.
