About Sol Gardens
Sol Gardens is a private botanical garden property on Bains Road in Currumbin Valley, close to the valley's rockpools. It runs as a wedding and events venue, and hirers get exclusive use of all 7 acres. There are several ceremony spaces to choose from, including a creekside setting, and a pavilion that doubles as the wet weather option. Lawns, a shaded avenue of trees and a white fenced paddock give couples plenty of places for photos. The full-day wedding runs from the ceremony through a garden cocktail hour to a reception, either sit-down or cocktail style, and a dance party. Friday and Saturday events can run for eight hours until 10pm, while Sunday and weekday events finish by 6pm. A shorter intimate wedding format covers a ceremony of three hours or more, with optional celebrations afterwards. It runs on Sundays and from Monday to Thursday. Couples can hire the space and bring their own plan together or take the all-inclusive collection, which adds menus from the in-house catering team and return bus transfers. A dedicated wedding manager guides each couple through planning. The gardens also take day hire for other occasions, among them birthday parties, engagement parties, baby showers and corporate events. What does a wedding at Sol Gardens cost?
Full-day hire is $7,000 from Monday to Thursday, $8,000 on Sundays and from $8,800 on Fridays and Saturdays. Intimate weddings start at $2,500 from Monday to Thursday and $3,000 on Sundays.
How late can an event run?
Friday and Saturday full-day weddings can go until 10pm. Sunday and Monday to Thursday events finish by 6pm.
Do we have to use a set catering package?
No. Food and drinks can be tailored to suit your needs and budget, and you can either hire the venue and build your own day or choose the all-inclusive collection from the in-house catering team.
What happens if it rains on the day?
The pavilion is the wet weather option. A ceremony planned beside the creek can be moved across to it.
Can Sol Gardens be hired for events other than weddings?
Yes. Day hire covers birthday parties, engagement parties, baby showers, corporate events and more, with a personalised quote for each one.
