About Julia's Currumbin Valley
Julia's is a wedding venue on 200 acres at 1730 Currumbin Creek Road in Currumbin Valley. Banana fields covered the land from the 1950s, and the same soil now feeds gardens, palms and subtropical forest. Creeks and waterfalls run through the grounds, with mountains rising behind. Couples can hold both the ceremony and the reception on the property, choosing the spots that suit them. There are three settings for the ceremony. The front lawns are ringed by mature palms, the creek side is a slim strip of grass framed by forest, and the barn gives you cover with its rear doors opening to the trees and water. For the reception, the old farm shed has been fitted out with a stage, a bar, room to dance and a surround system, along with furniture and lighting. Couples who want more room can put up a marquee of their choosing on one of several lawns. Because a marquee can be sized to suit, the layout is flexible. The venue does not publish a guest limit, so include your numbers when you make contact. A restored homestead on the grounds sleeps up to five, which lets a couple and those closest to them stay close by around the wedding. Send an enquiry to ask about dates and what is included.
