About Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club
Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club is a community club on Morala Avenue, opposite the local sports centre. It runs a bistro, a woodfired pizzeria and a café under one roof, and it supports junior rugby league and other local sporting groups. The function space is the club's room for private occasions. It has a bar of its own and glass from floor to ceiling, so the home ground fills the view, in daylight and after dark. The club hosts birthdays, engagements, Christmas parties and corporate get-togethers here, along with fundraisers and memorial gatherings. There is no fixed package to pick from: the team puts one together around your guest list and what you want to spend. Catering comes from the club's own kitchens. You can go with platters or canapés for a casual gathering, a buffet for a bigger crowd, or a set menu if everyone will be seated. Music is simple to arrange, with a DJ or a jukebox available as an add-on. Drinks are served from the bar in the room. There is easy parking on site, and a free hourly courtesy bus runs for members and guests on set days. Function bookings go through reception, so send an enquiry with your date and numbers to get started.
