About Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club
Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club is a community club on the southern Gold Coast, based at Salk Oval by Currumbin Creek. It backs local AFL, cricket, fishing, golf and outrigging clubs, and hires its rooms out for private and work events. The main space is the Function Room, a light-filled upstairs room that seats 170. The club quotes up to 250 guests for events across its spaces, and layouts can be set up for seated dinners or cocktail-style parties. The Function Room comes with a private bar, private bathrooms and a full AV and PA system. There is no lift to this level, so mention any access needs when you send an enquiry. The Garden Room is the smaller choice, suiting up to 50 guests. It has no minimum spend, and guests can eat from the event menu or buy meals from the bistro during opening hours. Food runs from platters of bao buns, sliders and arancini to family-style sharing, two and three-course set menus and custom buffets. Drinks can be a bar tab with a set limit or a cash bar. For music, use the in-house speakers with a playlist or bring a band, soloist or DJ at your own cost. Parking is on site, and the events team can help shape a package around your budget.
