About Highgarden Estate
Highgarden Estate is a family-owned property on Long Road, set along the eastern edge of Tamborine Mountain. Its 25 acres take in rainforest, formal gardens, avocado trees and wide lawns. The estate has a long history, having worked as a dairy farm and a horse stud before it began welcoming visitors. Its gardens have hosted weddings and concerts over the years. Guests walk along rainforest paths to a clifftop lawn with a 180-degree outlook to the Pacific Ocean. A large fountain and clipped gardens provide other settings, so couples can choose where each part of the day happens. Weddings are the main focus, and hire includes exclusive use of the grounds, with bathrooms and parking on site. A ceremony and reception booking runs through the day until 8pm, adding the on-site kitchen and a venue manager on the day. The estate also takes corporate functions and smaller celebrations in its gardens, along with picnics and long lunches. Those are priced on application, so share your plans when you enquire.
