About Cooly Breeze
Cooly Breeze is a rooftop restaurant and bar on Griffith Street in Coolangatta, on level 13 of the Beachcomber International Resort. Guests come through the ground floor lobby and ride the lift up. The venue has both indoor and outdoor seating, and Coolangatta Beach and the coastline are the backdrop. Outdoor tables depend on the weather and on availability. There are two ways to book an event. Exclusive hire gives you the whole venue for up to 60 guests, while a semi-private booking reserves one section and you share the room with other diners. Head chef Marcondes Almeida Neto runs a Mediterranean kitchen built around locally sourced seafood and grilled dishes. For events, expect seafood platters and tapas-style plates made for sharing, and the team prepares a festive menu for Christmas groups. The bar pours signature cocktails, wine and premium spirits. Function drinks packages are not published, so talk through the options when you enquire. The venue names birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, weddings, corporate events and workplace Christmas parties among its bookings.
