About Cafe Catalina
Cafe Catalina sits on the water's edge in the Broadwater Parklands at Southport, looking across the Broadwater. It is a casual restaurant and bar by day, with a tequila bar holding around 150 tequilas. For events there are three spaces. The Dining Room is a more structured room suited to client functions and presentation nights, and it can run as a private dining room. The covered Alfresco Bar holds 150 guests and comes with a dance floor, its own bar, a TV and a speaker system. It suits a birthday or a relaxed work party that runs into the evening. The Stormy Green Marquee was built for weddings and larger functions. It has fairy lights, high ceilings, a grassed area, water views and a space set aside for entertainment. Sections can be reserved exclusively for up to 250 guests in total, and each space can be set for cocktails or a conference. An in-house event and wedding coordinator plans the day with you, and local suppliers can bring in furniture and styling.
