About Bon Bon Bar @ Bonita Bonita
Bon Bon Bar is the tequila and mezcal lounge attached to Bonita Bonita, a Mexican restaurant on the Gold Coast Highway at Mermaid Beach. It is a small, candlelit room with a stained-glass Frida, a wall of tequila and its own bar. For functions, the whole room is yours. It seats 30 at a long table or holds 50 standing, and it can be booked any night of the week. Food comes as a seven-course banquet shared down the table, or as canapé packages passed around for a stand-up party. Each canapé package finishes with a classic taco per guest. Drinks are poured at your private bar in two or three-hour packages, from house wine and tap beer up to margaritas and sangria. There is space to dance, and you can play your own music through the sound system. Birthdays, work parties, Christmas and engagements are the regular bookings.
