Tamborine Mountain lets a group build a tasting day around one stop or several. Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery, Tamborine Mountain Distillery and Witches Falls Winery each pour in their own way, and Mount Tamborine Wine Tours can drive you between them.

Four ways to spend a tasting day on the mountain:

Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery: six wines for groups of six or more, sessions half-hourly, From $16 per person.
Tamborine Mountain Distillery: a 60-minute tour with four samples, From $30 per person.
Witches Falls Winery: hosted flights of at least 60 minutes, mostly outdoors.
Mount Tamborine Wine Tours: a private driver for one party, about five hours, From $60 per person.
A mix: the driver's sample route takes in Cedar Creek, Witches Falls and the distillery.

Witches Falls Winery takes up to 12 online, and asks 13 or more to enquire.
Cedar Creek's cafe seats 10 to 100 for a sit-down lunch.
The distillery's Main Tasting Room fits 100 after hours.
The wine tour's standard outing suits two to four, with larger parties quoted on request.

Witches Falls has no restaurant, but offers local cheese, pâté and relish platters.
Only those tasting at Witches Falls are charged, and there's a separate cider flight.
Non-drinkers can do the distillery tour and finish with a soft drink.
A pop-up picnic with a grazing box can be added to the private driver's tour.

Private functions aren't offered there, so plan on sharing the grounds with other guests.
