About Fox in a Box Gold Coast
Fox in a Box Gold Coast runs eight private themed rooms on Level 1 of a Surfers Paradise Boulevard building. Stories range from Prison Break and Mastermind Heist through to Wild West Saloon, The Bunker, Zombie Lab, Zodiac Killer and The Other Side, and each game lasts up to an hour. Most rooms take two to six players, and some take seven by request. Prison Break Head to Head puts two teams in matching cells, racing each other, for a group of up to 12. Book every room and 48 people can play together, while 32 or more players get the venue exclusively. A game master follows each team through cameras and microphones, and gives hints when they are wanted. Teams never share a room with strangers. Several rooms have a version adapted for younger players, while the scarier rooms suit people who enjoy jump scares and tension. The venue sells packages for hens and bucks groups, adult and kids' birthdays, Christmas parties and work teams. Larger groups can add catering, and the lounge bar pours bottled beer, cider and wine for adult guests. Kids' parties can include a reserved party table after the game for the cake and presents. Allow about 75 minutes for one game, including check-in and a team photo, or nearly three hours for a two-room package. Send an enquiry with your numbers to work out which rooms fit.

With all eight rooms booked, 48 players can play in one time slot. Standard rooms take two to six, some take seven by request, and the head-to-head prison game takes up to 12.
What do party packages cost?
The adult birthday package for 13 or more players starts at $42 per player for one game and $72 for two. Hens and bucks packages with two drinks start at $60, and Christmas packages start at $45.
Can we drink and eat at the venue?
Yes. The licensed lounge sells bottled beer, cider, wine and soft drinks, and catering can be arranged for groups of 13 or more. Alcohol is not served within 10 minutes of a game starting.
Are children able to play?
Yes, age 10 and up is recommended, though everyone is welcome and under-7s play free with paying players. Anyone 14 or under needs a guardian present on arrival and when the game finishes.
How much time should we allow?
