About Celebrancy by Melanie
Celebrancy by Melanie is the work of Melanie, a registered marriage celebrant living in Coomera who conducts weddings across the Gold Coast. Her ceremonies aim for a natural tone: some laughter, some happy tears and a day that runs to plan. The full wedding package is built around one bespoke script. Melanie meets couples face to face as often as they like, shares examples of poems, readings and ring vows, and leaves room for religious, spiritual or cultural traditions, with any props supplied by the couple. The ceremony itself runs for 20 to 30 minutes, and she arrives at the venue at least an hour ahead. On the practical side, she prepares the legal documents and lodges them with Births, Deaths and Marriages. A rehearsal, vow cards, a decorated signing table with chairs, a commemorative certificate and the use of her sound system and microphone all form part of the wedding package. Smaller options sit alongside it. The elopement package suits up to 10 guests with a personalised ceremony in a place the couple chooses, while the legal-only option keeps to the required wording, with four people present including two witnesses aged over 18. Can Melanie provide the ceremony music?
Her sound system comes with the wedding package and couples normally supply their own music. If you would like her to supply the music as well, it adds $200 to the package.
