About Sweeet CakeArt
Sweeet CakeArt is the cake business of Shehlaa, known to customers as Shell, who bakes from a licensed kitchen in Burleigh Waters. Her style runs to retro piped borders, satin bows, heart shapes and piles of fresh raspberries, and everything is baked from scratch. There are two ways to order. The online range holds ready-made designs that you can adjust for size, flavour and decoration, with options such as vanilla bean with raspberry and lemon, biscoff, fairy bread and double chocolate. For something entirely your own, including wedding cakes, you can ask for a custom design instead. The range goes beyond a single cake for the table. Tiramisu trays serve about 10 to 50 people and can carry a stencilled message for a birthday, anniversary or company celebration, while cupcakes and cookie boxes round out a dessert spread. Small tasting boxes are sold too, which helps if you are deciding on flavours before a big event. Delivery is offered on a limited basis and is priced by location, starting at $15. Online orders are set up for collection, so raise delivery in your enquiry. Allow at least two to three weeks, and more for busy dates. Note that the kitchen handles eggs, gluten, dairy, nuts, sesame and soy.

Does Sweeet CakeArt deliver cakes to events?
Limited deliveries are available, starting at $15 and varying by location. Online orders default to collection from Burleigh Waters, so ask about delivery when you enquire.
How much notice does a cake order need?
Allow two to three weeks at a minimum, and earlier for important dates. The business tries to fit in shorter requests when its calendar has room.
How big can the cakes go?
On the Berry Kiss design, sizes run from a 6-inch cake of about 10 serves to a 10-inch, three-layer cake of about 50 serves. Custom designs are quoted separately.
Can we taste flavours before ordering?
Yes. Cake tasting boxes are sold in the shop range, with flavours such as vanilla bean, biscoff, fairy bread and chocolate with Oreo buttercream to sample.
How is payment handled for larger orders?
Orders under $250 are paid in full when placed. Above that, a 50% non-refundable deposit secures the order and the balance falls due a month before the event.
