About Ridgeway Catering
Ridgeway Catering is the event arm of chef Daniel Ridgeway's Gold Coast restaurant group, based in Ashmore. It works with couples, companies and private hosts, building a customised menu and staying involved from the first conversation to the day itself. The sample canape list shows the style: freshly shucked oysters, king prawn sliders, wagyu steak tartare, herb-crusted lamb loin and betel leaf tacos with smoked kingfish. Hot options include jamon and mozzarella croquettes, crispy duck rolls and confit pork belly skewers, while sweets run to vanilla bean panna cotta and white chocolate brownie. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are marked, and fresh, local produce is used wherever possible. Weddings are a big part of the work. Ridgeway is the preferred caterer at Kwila Lodge in Mudgeeraba, The Bower Estate at Natural Bridge and Wynmere Estate on Tamborine Mountain, and it has covered celebrations as far into the valleys as Currumbin. It is equally happy to cater at a location you have chosen yourself. Corporate clients are well covered too, with regular VIP events for luxury brands at Pacific Fair alongside other company functions.
