About IceCream Dreamery
IceCream Dreamery is a family-run ice cream van from the Gold Coast, started by a couple who left careers in hospitality and IT to build a business of their own. The van itself is part of the appeal: pastel stripes and a playful look that sits comfortably at a dressy event as well as a relaxed one. Two things come out of the window. The Italian soft serve is halal, vegetarian and gluten-free by design, which takes a lot of the dietary guesswork out of feeding a mixed crowd. The gourmet cups use a rotating selection of handcrafted ice cream and sorbet, with flavours made specially for the van, from rich Dubai pistachio and choc through to a refreshing chocolate sorbet. Weddings and milestone birthdays are a natural fit, whether the van is a planned part of the day or a surprise for the guests of honour. It also works at corporate events and fundraisers, including black-tie functions, where a dessert van gives people a reason to step away from the tables. The practical side is well covered.
