About Simple Catering Kitchen
Simple Catering Kitchen prepares shared food in its own commercial kitchen and brings it to homes, offices and event spaces around the Gold Coast. The heart of the party offer is grazing: cheese, charcuterie, fresh produce and accompaniments, laid out either in windowed kraft boxes or on solid timber boards. Boxes suit picnics, boating days and relaxed get-togethers. Boards are the dressier choice, and the team sets them up where you are and returns at an agreed time to take them away, with that service built into the price. For private celebrations there are three set party packages, or a build-your-own menu with sliders, tacos, skewers, pastries, savouries and extra platters. Birthdays, hens parties, bridal showers and anniversaries are all on the list, and there is a dedicated kids' party menu of Aussie classics such as party pies, sausage rolls and fairy bread. If you are unsure how much to order, give them your guest numbers and they will help work out quantities. Work catering is a large part of the business too: morning teas, sandwiches and salads, individually boxed meals and hot meals for meetings, training days and conferences, with coffee and tea stations available on the conference menu. End-of-year work parties get grazing and platters with a Christmas touch. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free needs can be met with advance notice.

What is the difference between a grazing box and a grazing board?
Boxes are kraft cardboard with a clear window and suit casual gatherings. Boards are solid timber, set up on site by the team and collected later, and that service is included.
What is the smallest order Simple Catering Kitchen takes?
Grazing platters start at 12 people and lunch menus and individual boxes at 10. Smaller groups can send an enquiry to see what could be put together for them.
Can Simple Catering Kitchen cater a kids' party?
Yes. Two kids' grazing platters cover party pies, sausage rolls, finger sandwiches, fairy bread and cut fruit, and one of them adds lollies, marshmallows and mini franks.
Which parts of the Gold Coast get delivery?
Delivery runs from Ormeau to Coolangatta. Free delivery depends on the suburb and the order value: over $150 for Southport and Nerang, over $250 for Surfers Paradise and Bundall, and over $500 for Broadbeach and Coomera.
Are dietary requirements catered for?
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available with advance notice, and there are dedicated gluten-free and vegan morning tea platters. Individual boxes are the easiest format to adapt for most needs.
