Birthday Party Venues in Burleigh Heads

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Burleigh Heads gives a birthday host five quite different nights out, so the first decision is what the group will actually do. Burleigh Bunker is built around golf simulators, Naami around a DJ and dance floor, and Burleigh Heads Bowls Club around barefoot bowls on the green.

Burleigh Town Hotel and Burleigh Heads Hotel are the pub choices, one leaning on its gardens and the other on The Esplanade.

Matching the birthday to the room in Burleigh Heads:

Burleigh Bunker: all four simulators are yours on a booking of at least three hours, with BYO and catering both possible.
Naami: cocktails first and DJs later on whole-venue hire, from $4,000 minimum spend on selected nights.
Burleigh Town Hotel: the open-air Patio holds 150 standing or 80 seated, with drinks packages from $48 per person.
Burleigh Heads Hotel: The Birdcage holds about 130 for cocktails, and Terrace sections start at a $2,300 minimum spend.
Burleigh Heads Bowls Club: a casual shared clubhouse and greens, without a private function room.

A big decade party with dancing points to Naami, where the lights go down from 9pm and the laneway and beer garden give people somewhere to talk.
Keen golfers and mixed crowds suit Burleigh Bunker, since 148 courses and games like nearest to the pin keep it competitive and non-players have other games.
A long lunch or seated dinner with water views points to the Terrace at Burleigh Heads Hotel, which is roped off for your group.
A relaxed outdoor party on the lawn fits Burleigh Town Hotel, where the Burleigh Beer Garden takes 80 standing or 60 seated.

Birthday catches to check before you pay a deposit

Burleigh Heads Bowls Club does not host 18th, 19th, 20th or 21st birthdays, so it is out for those years.
Outside food and drinks aren't allowed at Burleigh Heads Hotel or the bowls club, though a celebration cake can be arranged.
Naami's Evergreen Space is a reserved area inside the bar for 10 to 24 rather than a closed room, so check that suits a smaller party.
Full hire at Burleigh Bunker is quoted rather than published, so ask for a figure with your date.
