About Burleigh Heads Hotel
Burleigh Heads Hotel stands on The Esplanade, a few steps from the sand. It trades as a public pub with a bistro, sports bar and terrace, and several of those areas can be set aside for private functions. The Birdcage is the main function room, with a private, separate feel and a view towards the beach. It holds roughly 100 to 130 guests, leans towards cocktail events, and can have its own two-tap bar and a portable TV. The Terrace sits outside the bistro and is booked in two sections, roped off for your group. It handles sit-down or cocktail events for up to 100 in the open air. The Sports Bar gives larger groups big screens, a large bar, a pool table, separate restrooms and indoor and outdoor seating. The whole room is available from Monday to Thursday, and a barricaded front section with an outdoor area can be booked any day. Catering runs from shared platters to set menus of two or three courses, with dietary needs handled on request. No outside food or drinks are allowed, though celebration cakes are fine. Drinks packages run for two or three hours, or you can set up a bar tab. A dedicated functions coordinator looks after each booking.
