About Naami
Naami is a cocktail bar on James Street in Burleigh Heads, a short walk from the beach. It trades as a bar and a late-night party room, so private groups walk into a space with the atmosphere already in place. The venue combines a bar, a dance floor, an open-air laneway and a beer garden. Exclusive hire takes up to 100 guests, and the same room also works for a gathering of about 30. Events usually split into two halves. The early hours from 6pm suit cocktails, canapés and speeches, then from 9pm the lights go down and the DJs start. Smaller groups have a middle option. The Evergreen Space is a reserved semi-private area inside the bar, rather than a separate room, for parties of 10 to 24. Canapé selections come in 4, 6 or 8 pieces, with bites such as snapper croquettes, arancini and spiced chicken cigars. Drinks can run as a package, arrival cocktails, tokens or a bar tab. The team can usually adjust the menu to suit your group, and outside catering can be discussed at enquiry. Decorations are welcome within reason, though anything big or messy needs approval first.

What does exclusive hire cost?
Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday have no hire fee, with a $4,000 minimum spend. A Friday or Saturday from 6pm to 9pm is $2,500 hire plus a $1,000 bar tab. Taking the whole venue through to midnight costs at least $10,000 on Friday or $15,000 on Saturday.
Is a DJ included?
A DJ and the dance floor come with exclusive hire. Resident DJs play from 9pm, and bringing your own can be discussed for a full-venue takeover.
Can we organise food?
Yes. Canapé packages of 4, 6 or 8 pieces start at $25 per person, and the kitchen can usually tweak them for dietary needs. Outside catering can be raised in your enquiry.
Can we decorate the venue?
Balloons, fairy lights, signage and similar pieces are fine provided they cause no damage. Check with the team first about confetti, smoke machines or large installations.
