About Serenity Charters Gold Coast
Serenity is a 36-foot Scimitar 1010 catamaran that runs only as a private charter, so there are no shared tickets or set timetables. With 12 guests as the inshore limit, it suits a close group more than a big crowd. Skipper Dean works through the plans with you beforehand and builds the route around them. The boat has plenty of the comforts a long day calls for. There is an air-conditioned indoor lounge and dining area, a covered outdoor deck, a kitchenette, a bathroom with a hot shower, and beds for anyone wanting a rest. Connect your own music by Bluetooth, or use the Spotify tablet on board. Most days involve cruising the Broadwater and dropping anchor for a swim, conditions permitting. Two paddle boards come along, and the tender can be discussed during planning. Food is flexible: bring your own and use the supplied BBQ, eskies and ice, or ask the crew to arrange catering, grazing boards, a private chef or special occasion styling. The operator names birthday celebrations, hens parties, private celebrations and corporate gatherings among its charters, along with sunset cruises and proposals. Guests of all ages are welcome. Boarding is generally at Paradise Point, Broadwater Parklands, Sundale Bridge, the Muriel Henchman boat ramp or Marine Stadium on the Spit, and is confirmed before the day. Send an enquiry with your idea for the day and your guest numbers.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can Serenity take?
Up to 12 guests can come aboard for a charter on the sheltered inshore waters. Trips that head offshore are limited to six, so let the crew know your plans when you enquire.
Can we bring our own food and alcohol?
Yes, BYO food and drinks are welcome, and the boat supplies a BBQ, eskies and ice. If you would rather not bring anything, the crew can help with catering, grazing boards or a private chef.
Where do we board?
Boarding varies with the charter and conditions. You can generally choose Paradise Point, Broadwater Parklands, Sundale Bridge, the Muriel Henchman boat ramp or Marine Stadium on the Spit, and details are confirmed beforehand.
Can we swim and use the paddle boards?
Swim stops can be built into most inshore charters, weather permitting, and your skipper will suggest a suitable spot. Two paddle boards are on board for guests to use during the charter.
What happens if it rains on the day?
Light rain alone does not necessarily cancel a charter, as the boat has indoor and covered outdoor areas. If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, the charter may be moved to another date.
