About Book A Queen
Book A Queen is an Australian drag agency run by drag performers, with more than 1,500 bookings behind it. It supplies queens mostly in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and its Sydney roster includes Ivory Glaze, Amyl and Karna Ford from RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under. Styles vary from glamour to comedy to stunt queens, and some performers are AFAB women who do drag. Hens and birthday parties are sold as tiered packages. The standard option is one queen for 30 minutes with one show plus a game or mingling, the fabulous option is one queen for 60 minutes with two shows, and the diamond option is two queens for 60 minutes with two solo shows, a duo number and games. Corporate packages run from a 10-minute spot with a five-minute lip-sync and photos, to 30 or 60 minutes with two shows and mingling. Bingo, trivia and Singo Bingo, a music version of bingo, run for an hour or more with one or two queens, and custom packages cover anything else, from weddings and brand activations to roving entertainment and drag DJ sets. A show is a lip-synced song of three to five minutes. Queens bring what they need, though you should mention any AV or your own microphone and music setup when booking. They can dress to a theme where their wardrobe allows and can learn a requested song. You can ask for a specific queen through a separate form, but package bookings do not guarantee a particular performer. Prices are quoted per event, including any travel fee.

What is included in a hens or birthday package?
The standard package is one queen for 30 minutes with one show, the fabulous package one queen for 60 minutes with two shows, and the diamond package two queens for 60 minutes with two shows plus a duo show. Hens packages include games and birthday packages include mingling between shows.
How long is each show?
A show is usually a three to five minute lip-synced song, often a pop song or camp classic chosen by the queen. You can suggest a song and they will check whether the queen knows it or can learn it.
Can I choose which queen I get?
Yes, through the specific performer request form. Package bookings cannot guarantee a particular queen and the performer may change.
What equipment or space do I need to provide?
Queens bring everything they need and adapt to large or small spaces. Tell the agency if you need AV or want them to use your own microphone or music system.
Do they come to my suburb, and how much does it cost?
Queens travel to homes, restaurants, bars, clubs and festivals. Prices are not published; give your location when requesting a quote so any travel fee is included.
