Clear allEnd-of-year drinks within sight of the surf are simple to organise in Bondi once the head count is settled. Twenty to 40 staff can take over the Upstairs Lounge @ 44North, on O'Brien Street, as a private floor, a department after share plates and a DJ suits Salty's on Campbell Parade, and a whole company can fill Icebergs Dining Room and Bar at 1 Notts Avenue.
Salty's is the casual pick: a surf bar across from the beach, open from 11am daily, which already takes end-of-financial-year work functions. Icebergs is the dressier one, with feasting menus and a private room that has its own bar.
Team size and budget, venue by venue:
Surcharges belong in the budget too. Salty's adds 10% on Sundays and 15% on public holidays, which is worth knowing before locking in a December Sunday.

The bottomless package, $109 per person, starts with a Cali Classic margarita and brings an eight-course shared menu with two hours of tap beer, wine and seltzer. Bottomless margaritas cost extra.
The Pacific Dining Room at Icebergs, the building's only private room, seats up to 40 at tables of four to eight, or 26 when set as a single long table, and it has a bar of its own.
Yes. Upstairs Lounge @ 44North is given over entirely to one group of 20 to 40, with a private bar and its own bathrooms.
At Salty's, 10% on Sundays and 15% on public holidays. Icebergs works on minimum spends, with drinks charged on consumption.
