Prometheus cuts an elegant, sporty figure on the water and makes a real statement wherever she cruises. Measuring 24 metres long and 6 metres wide, she offers a generous interior that can be tailored to suit your event, whether that's a milestone birthday, corporate function or celebration with friends. A full professional renovation in 2021 transformed the upper saloon into a spacious, luxurious entertaining area for up to 36 guests, with uninterrupted 360-degree views across Sydney Harbour. For those wanting a proper sit-down affair, the large upper lounge seats up to 14 guests for a sumptuous dining experience beneath a retractable roof, perfect for enjoying the harbour by day or night (dining needs to be pre-booked). The layout is designed to let indoor and outdoor entertaining flow naturally into one another, with a covered outdoor deck complementing the comfortable indoor lounge areas. Downstairs, guests will find another expansive lounge, a fully equipped galley kitchen and a well-stocked bar area, along with large HD TVs, a modern sound system and full Foxtel access for an entertainment-packed cruise. The combined indoor/outdoor deck offers plenty of room to mingle while soaking up the scenery, with a large sunshade on hand for those bright Sydney days. Pricing

Charters on Prometheus start from $1000 per hour with a minimum booking of 4 hours. If you'd like extra time to decorate or set up before your event, up to one hour of complimentary bump-in access is available at Jones Bay Wharf Pyrmont, subject to availability.

Food

Prometheus offers plenty of flexibility when it comes to catering. You can choose from a banquet or buffet menu, a canape and platter menu, or make use of the onboard BBQ facility and BBQ menu. BYO food is also welcome, and table dining is available for a more formal sit-down experience. Plates and cutlery are provided for anyone bringing their own food.

Beverages

Drinks are BYO only aboard Prometheus, and the vessel is well set up to make this easy. Premium champagne flutes, wine glasses and drinking glasses are all supplied, along with eskies, fridges and ice, so you can simply bring your favourite drinks and settle in.

Wharfs & Availability

Prometheus is available for charter every day, though it's best to check real-time availability with the team when enquiring. All charters run for a minimum of 4 hours, with daytime cruises typically finishing by 5.00pm and evening cruises running from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.

The most popular pickup point is King St Wharf in the CBD, with other regular options including Hollys Wharf at Pyrmont Park, Pirrama Park at the end of Harris St in Pyrmont, Casino Wharf and Lavender Bay Wharf. Any wharf between Huntley's Point and Rose Bay Wharf can be used free of charge, though as these aren't pre-booked wharfs there may be delays boarding depending on other boat traffic, which can eat into your cruising time. Prometheus is unable to travel to Milson Point, Kirribilli or Manly Wharf due to ferry traffic and washout. Other wharfs around Sydney Harbour may be available on request, though fees can apply.
