About ecoTekk Electric Bikes Sunshine Coast
Owners Stuart and Tracey, a married couple who live locally, run ecoTekk Electric Bikes Sunshine Coast as an e-bike tour and hire business. Their solar-charged bikes are delivered to the start point, and guided tours run along coastal pathways, river walks and quiet hinterland roads. The tour list covers much of the region. Riders can follow the Pumicestone Passage from Pelican Waters to Caloundra, ride Point Cartwright to Moffat Beach, or link the Mooloolah River spit with Cotton Tree and the Maroochy River. In the north there are routes around Noosa Heads and the Noosa North Shore. In the hinterland, the Maleny tour follows Obi Obi Creek to a platypus viewing platform before heading out along Mountain View Road for a coffee stop. For workplaces, ecoTekk designs guided corporate rides and team-building sessions for up to 30 riders at a time, with extra sessions for bigger conferences. Rides can be as short as a 60-minute conference breakout or stretch to a half or full day. Routes, café stops, themes and difficulty can all be tailored, and bikes are delivered straight to your resort or venue. How many people can join a corporate e-bike ride?
Each session takes up to 30 riders. For a larger conference or event, ecoTekk can run several sessions so the whole group gets a turn.
How much do the guided tours cost?
Guided tours start from $142.36 a person for the Easy Peasy Noosa Explora ride, with the Golden Beach tour from $148.69. Corporate and team-building rides are quoted to suit your group and schedule.
Do riders need to be fit?
No. The e-bikes have adjustable pedal assist, so riders of different ages and fitness levels can ride together, and most routes stick to shared pathways rather than busy roads.
How long does a corporate ride take?
Sessions can be as short as a 60-minute breakout between conference sessions, or run as half-day, full-day or custom multi-stop rides depending on your program.
What safety gear is supplied?
Every rider gets a helmet, a full safety talk and a practical run-through of how the e-bike works. Closed-in shoes are required, and riding barefoot is not allowed under the hire conditions.
