About By Earth and Ocean
By Earth and Ocean is a family-owned tour company based in Noosaville, running guided e-bike and kayak trips around Noosa. The tours are pitched at everyday riders and paddlers, so no special fitness or experience is needed. On land, the Summit to Sea ride begins high on the Mt Tinbeerwah lookout, then descends via Tewantin National Park and skirts the Lake Doonella wetlands before reaching the Noosa River, with sealed surfaces the whole way. The Bikes, Beers and Burgers ride follows scenic pathways and ends with locally brewed beer and burgers, while guided electric mountain bike tours head into the rainforest trails or further into the hinterland. On the water, the guided Stingrays and Everglades kayak tour explores the calm southern reaches of the Noosa Everglades. Paddlers move through mangrove-lined creeks and mirror-flat water, looking out for birdlife and young stingrays below the kayaks. For groups, the team designs custom experiences for corporate teams, school groups, hens and bucks parties and other celebrations. These can run from a two-hour outing to a full day or longer, mixing kayaking, mountain, gravel and beach riding with picnics, catering and transport. Private guided tours are also available for groups who want the guide to themselves. Send an enquiry to plan a group day.

Frequently asked questions
How much do the guided tours cost?
The guided Everglades kayak tour is $119 for ages 13 and up and $79 for children aged 4 to 12. Guided e-bike tours start from $139, and custom group experiences are quoted to suit your plans.
Do we need to be fit or experienced?
No. The kayaks are stable and suit complete beginners, and the pedal-assist e-bikes make hills easy. Each tour page sets out who it suits, and the pace is matched to the group.
Are there age rules for the e-bike tours?
Where Queensland e-bike rules apply, each rider must be 16 or older and hold at least a learner licence. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or legal guardian, not a guide.
Can you organise a day for a work team or hens group?
Yes. Custom experiences are built for corporate teams, hens and bucks groups and celebrations, with the pace, length, activities, catering and transport tailored to your group.
How long do the tours take?
The guided kayak tour runs for about three hours, with two to two and a half hours on the water. The Summit to Sea and Bikes, Beers and Burgers rides also take around three hours.
