About Slumber Party Tents
Slumber Party Tents hires themed sleepover set-ups for children's birthday parties and other special nights on the Sunshine Coast. The business takes on the work of styling a slumber party, so parents can step back and let the kids enjoy the night. There are more than 30 themes to pick from, among them unicorns, mermaids, flamingos, galaxy, Harry Potter, Minecraft, Fortnite, sharks and several boho colourways. Tent covers and plush toys are handmade for each theme, and a custom theme can sometimes be created with at least eight weeks of notice for an added fee. Each package covers overnight hire of fabric-covered tents, single air mattresses, sheets, blankets, two feature cushions, a plush toy, fairy lights, bunting or garland, a lantern with an LED tea light, a sleep mask and a breakfast table for every child. Guests only need to bring their own pillow. Choose a DIY kit, packed and ready to collect from Palmview on the morning of the party, or full service, where the tents are delivered within 20 kilometres, set up and packed down the next day. Extras such as pamper bags, breakfast boxes and movie snack packs can be added to any booking.

How much floor space is needed?
Each tent with its bed and breakfast table takes up roughly 1.2 metres wide by 2.5 metres long. A party of five needs a cleared area of about 5.5 metres by 2.5 metres.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable $25 deposit holds your date, and the balance is due seven days before collection or set-up. Date changes are allowed up to eight days out.
What if a child wets the bed?
A $20 sanitation fee applies, because the mattress is replaced and the linen needs extra cleaning. There is no bond, but any breakages or damage are charged.
Can we have a theme that is not on the list?
Sometimes. A custom theme needs at least eight weeks of notice because the tents and plush toys are made by hand, and it adds $250 to the package price.
Where do you deliver?
Full set-up packages are delivered within a 20 kilometre radius of Palmview. Families further away can choose the DIY option and collect the kit from Palmview themselves.
