Lilybell Picnics & Events is a family-owned business on the Sunshine Coast, set up in 2017 by Suzy, who brings an artist's eye and a love of interiors to every set-up. It works from Woombye and specialises in outdoor picnic-style events. The main offer is the styled picnic. The team delivers and arranges low tables, floor cushions, Moroccan pouffes, rugs, plates, glassware and flowers in one of several themed looks, including boho, blush pink, nautical and all-white, then collects everything afterwards. Pricing for these set-ups includes delivery and styling within 30km of Woombye, with a quote for spots further out. Grazing platters can be added to any picnic or hire order, and dietary needs such as vegetarian can be catered for. Couples planning a proposal or a date can book a romantic set-up for two, with or without food. For hosts who want to style things themselves, DIY hire packs cover 4 to 20 guests with low tables, a table runner, cushions and pouffes, rugs for the ground, serving stands, napkins, plates and fresh flowers. Gear is collected from Woombye for a 24-hour hire, or delivery can be quoted. The wider hire list adds bell tents and teepees, wedding and sun umbrellas, cocktail and trestle tables, bar stools, rattan beach chairs, a snack cart, popcorn, slushie and candy floss machines, and outdoor movie nights. What is included in a styled picnic?
The team brings and arranges low tables, cushions, pouffes, rugs, plates, glassware and flowers in your chosen theme, and collects it all again at the end.
Is delivery included in the price?
Picnic and DIY hire prices include delivery and styling within 30km of Woombye. Locations outside that zone are quoted individually.
How does the DIY hire work?
DIY kits for 4 to 20 guests are collected from Woombye early in the morning and kept for 24 hours. A $100 cash bond and a copy of ID are taken at pick-up, with the bond refunded within 72 hours.
Can food be added?
Yes. Grazing platters can be added to a picnic or DIY hire, and dietary requirements, including vegetarian guests, can be catered for on request.
What happens if it rains on the day?
With 48 hours' notice in writing, you can move the picnic to a different location or shift it to another date, as set out in the terms and conditions.
