About Mondo Floral Designs
Mondo Floral Designs is a wedding florist run from a studio in Landsborough, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Led by Terrianne, the team designs flowers for weddings only, working from the hinterland villages of Maleny and Montville through to Noosa, at beaches, country estates, restaurants and private properties. The work covers the whole wedding: bridal bouquets and bridesmaid blooms, ceremony arrangements, reception flowers for long and round tables, hanging installations and fully styled floral marquees. Ceremony designs range from low meadow-style banks of white flowers along a beach lawn to tall pedestals and urns framing a hinterland view. The studio also creates florals for garden party canapé receptions. Consultations are held by appointment at the studio and usually take around an hour. Couples look through digital portfolios and design magazines, browse a large collection of vases, vessels and floral props, and bring along their own saved images. A custom quotation and individual proposal follow. Weekend appointments are offered but are limited around wedding commitments, so booking ahead helps. Couples who live further away can still work with the team by sending inspiration images and a summary of colours and requirements, which forms the basis of a preliminary proposal. The studio's seasonality guide sets out which flowers are available in each part of the year, so hopes for a particular bloom are realistic from the start.
