About Divine Spark Entertainment
Divine Spark Entertainment is a circus company based on the Sunshine Coast, built around theatrical fire performance and inventive circus acts. It is booked for weddings, private parties, bridal showers, festivals and product launches, and also takes on film and TV work. The fire show is the act clients ask for most. Performers work with a wide mix of fire props, in themed costumes and to set choreography, so the show reads as a piece of theatre rather than a few tricks. For weddings there is also a ceremonial fire option, and couples can be framed by a burning heart for photos after dark. For the start of an event, roving performers greet guests as they arrive: fire dancers, samba dancers, belly dancers, hula hoop artists or an aerial lyra installation. Aerial artists train on lyra, silks and trapeze, and their act relies on strength, flexibility and control in the air. The troupe is led by founder and director Aranya Lumiere, who has more than 20 years in circus arts as a performer and teacher. She also brings training in modern dance, stage choreography, costume making and running shows backstage. Her local credits include fire shows at the Eumundi Moonlight Markets, a gala at Peregian Beach and a car launch on the Sunshine Coast. Acts come as a solo, duo or trio, and bigger shows bring in other circus performers. Share your date, location, guest numbers, theme and type of event and the team will come back with ideas and a quote.
