About Next Level Adventure Park
Next Level Adventure Park sits at Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore, where three hexagonal steel towers rise 22 metres above the shopping centre. Cables, ropes and timber link them into seven high ropes courses with 145 aerial challenges and 16 ziplines, the longest reaching 130 metres over Cornmeal Creek. Courses are graded beginner, intermediate, hard and expert, with access set by age and reach. Six and seven year olds start on the beginner level, ten-year-olds can move up to the hard courses, and the expert ninja circuit opens at 13. Every climber stays clipped to a continuous safety system, and one course usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. For birthdays, the Party Express package covers one course while the Party Classic gives two hours on the ropes. Both include grip gloves, lollies, stickers, digital invitations and a certificate, and a party host or a picnic table on the viewing deck can be added. Team days let colleagues choose their own difficulty, and school groups are welcome too. Catering is not provided, though BYO food is encouraged and the plaza has plenty of places to eat. Frequently asked questions
How much does a birthday party at Next Level cost?
The Party Express package is $45 for adults and $38 for children aged 6 to 15, covering one course. The two-hour Party Classic is $69 a climber. A party host costs $90 (Express) or $160 (Classic), and a picnic table on the viewing deck is $25.
How old do climbers need to be?
Climbers start at age 6. Children aged 6 and 7 need one participating adult for every two kids, and ages 8 to 10 need one adult for every four. From 11, an adult must stay on site and watch from the ground, and the expert course is for ages 13 and up.
Is there a group discount?
Yes. Groups of 10 or more climbers receive a 10% discount when booking online, which suits sports clubs, scout groups, school classes and work teams. Group packages need a 20% deposit at the time of booking.
What should we wear for the high ropes?
Fully enclosed sneakers or trainers are required, and long hair must be tied back. Wear comfortable clothes that sit well under a harness, as crop tops and short shorts can ride up. Grip gloves are needed for every climber and can be bought at checkout.
Can we bring food for a party?
Next Level does not offer catering, but BYO food is welcome for parties and picnic tables can be hired on the viewing deck for an hour after the session. Restaurants and food outlets inside Sunshine Plaza are also close by.
