About Virtual Room Fremantle
Virtual Room is a collaborative virtual reality venue at 25 Collie Street in Fremantle, part of an international brand that builds its own games. Each mission blends the logic of an escape room with a cinematic 3D world, and runs for 45 minutes with teams of two to four. There is a range of adventures, including two Time Travel chapters, the zombie-themed Are We Dead, the arcade-style Press Start, Arrow Dash and an Asterix mission. In-game movement follows real body movement, so players bend, reach and walk as they would in a room. Groups larger than four are split into several teams that play side by side, and different bookings in the same slot never share a game. Birthday groups can add Planet Party, a 10-minute bonus level for up to 12 players that can carry the guest of honour's name, photos and voice messages. Kids parties suit ages 10 to 15 with snacks and a private space as options, hens and bucks parties are welcome, and workplaces can book the whole venue for up to 60 people. Full payment is taken when the booking is made.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can play at once?
Each mission is built for a team of two to four. Larger groups are split into several teams that play at the same time, and the venue can be booked privately for team events of up to 60 people.
What is the minimum age?
Players must be at least eight to enter the game rooms, and anyone under 16 needs at least one adult with them. Kids birthday parties are designed for ages 10 to 15.
Do glasses fit under the VR headsets?
Most glasses can stay on under the headset as long as the frames are not oversized. If you own contact lenses, the venue suggests wearing those for extra comfort.
Is the experience suitable for everyone?
Players stand and move around for the whole game, so the venue does not recommend it for wheelchair users. The games are also unsuitable for anyone with epilepsy or a neurological condition.
Can we bring food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks need the venue's approval before they come into reception, and nothing can be taken into the game rooms. Snacks and a private space can be arranged as add-ons for kids parties.
