About Starfish Lane
Starfish Lane is a stationery and signage studio in North Perth. A small team led by owner Avrile, with a graphic designer and consultants, creates invitations and event stationery and turns the same designs into signage for weddings, engagement parties and corporate events. The signage side covers welcome signs, seating plans, table numbers and drinks menus, styled to match an existing invitation suite or designed from scratch. Signs are printed on 5mm board that is light to carry, and the studio can cut them to any size or outline – rectangular, wavy, arched or with rounded corners. Those who have designed their own sign can send the artwork to the print studio, which turns most orders around in about five working days. A1 is the usual size, though any dimension can be made. To display the finished pieces, Starfish Lane hires black and white hanging frames with leather straps that hold signs up to 640 x 1000mm, and a black easel that takes an A1 sign in portrait or landscape. Hire runs for four days, with items collected from and returned to the North Perth store. The studio opens five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and no appointment is needed to browse its design suites and specialty papers and get an on-the-spot quote.

Do I need an appointment to visit the studio?
No appointment is needed. The North Perth store is open from Tuesday through Saturday during business hours, with staff on hand to quote on designs and give advice.
