About Jody Q Weddings
Jody Q Weddings is a wedding planning and design studio in Perth, led by owner and creative director Jody Coon, who has close to three decades of experience in event management and wedding planning. The studio deliberately limits how many couples it takes on each year, so the team can stay closely involved in every detail – from how a room feels when guests walk in to the way lighting, flowers, stationery and table settings sit together. Planning follows four stages. It begins with an in-depth consultation and a design concept covering the setting, colour palette, florals, lighting and finer details. The team then recommends and books suppliers whose style suits the brief, manages the budget, schedules, site visits, floor plans and logistics, and pulls everything into a detailed event plan for the venue and supplier team. On the wedding day, full-service couples have the team on site from the first supplier arrival to the last moments of the night, directing venue builds, marquee construction, styling installations, timings and formalities. Couples who want to stay more hands-on can choose the collaborative Wedding Planning & Design service instead. Coordination on the day alone is not available as a separate booking. Full-service planning, design and management starts at $13,200, with styling, florals and production quoted on top (styling from $8,000). For smaller weddings, the La Bijou intimate collections at Lamont's Bishops House in the Perth CBD start at $5,900 for a weekday rose garden ceremony with a celebrant, photography, flowers and a planner, for up to 40 guests.

Can I book Jody Q Weddings for on-the-day coordination only?
No. Coordination or management of the wedding day alone is not offered as a separate service; direction on the day is part of the full-service package, which covers the planning journey from the beginning.
What does the team do on the wedding day?
For full-service couples the team is present from the first supplier arrival to the end of the celebration, running the ceremony rehearsal, directing the venue and supplier team, managing timings and formalities, and overseeing set-up and, where needed, the de-rig.
