About Tipsy Tours
Tipsy Tours runs private tasting days for groups on the Gold Coast, so the bus carries your party and nobody else. A guide collects everyone from one private address, then takes the group up into the hinterland around Tamborine Mountain. The shortest option is the half-day Tipsy Hens Tour, which pairs a liqueur or gin tasting at Cauldron Distillery with a wine tasting and two-course lunch at Hampton Estate. It is named for hens parties, but any group wanting a shorter outing can book it. The full-day tour adds Fortitude Brewing Co. to the same two stops, and the group chooses either a winery lunch or a brewery lunch with woodfired pizza. The birthday version finishes at the Eagle Heights Hotel, where a generous meal arrives with shared jugs of beer, cider or alcoholic ginger beer. Life on board is relaxed. The air-conditioned buses come with an esky and ice for your own snacks and drinks, someone in the group controls the music, and decorations are welcome on request, though glitter is not. Standard fares are for groups of 6 or more, and smaller groups can still travel privately at a higher rate. Vehicles run to 55 passengers, with bookings of up to 220 by arrangement, so send an enquiry with your date, numbers and pick-up suburb.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can come on a Tipsy Tours day?
Standard vehicles take from 6 to 55 passengers, and bookings of up to 220 can be arranged. Groups of 5 or fewer still get a private vehicle, but each person pays a surcharge that grows as the group gets smaller.
What does the tour fare leave out?
Tastings, lunch and transfers are in the fare, so the main extras are bottles to take home from the cellar doors and any further drinks you buy at lunch. A pick-up fee may also apply depending on where you are collected.
Can we bring our own drinks and decorate the bus?
Yes. There is an esky with ice on board for your own snacks and drinks, and the crew asks you to bring plenty of water. The bus can be decorated on request as long as there is no glitter, and damage is charged back to the person who booked.
Can guests under 18 or non-drinkers join the group?
Both can join and pay half the fare, which covers lunch and transfers without the tastings. That lower rate does not apply to the Wine and Dine tour or to groups with fewer than 6 full-paying guests.
How does payment and cancelling work?
A deposit equal to two guests' fares secures the date and is not refundable, and the balance is due by the invoice date. Other money paid is refunded at 50% up to 14 days before the tour, with nothing refunded after that.

Could not recommend tipsy tours enough! The girls and I booked the full day tour for my bachelorette weekend, the vibes were amazing and they were very accommodating for any requests that we had!
