About GOYA Weddings
GOYA Weddings is a family-owned photo and video studio run by husband and wife Gavin and Helena. Helena is the first shooter and chief editor, with a background in fashion and portrait work that shapes her bold, artistic images. Gavin is the main videographer, and his events experience brings a candid feel to the coverage. He also guides couples through locations, outfits and the shoot itself. Couples can book photography alone or combine it with video. Photo-only packages cover six, eight or ten hours, and the ten-hour option has two photographers, a pre-wedding shoot and a printed album. Combined packages add a cinematic highlights film, an Instagram reel and drone footage where the weather and location allow, while the longer ones include documentary-style ceremony and speeches and an audio guest book. Every package opens with a planning consultation and a run sheet, so the timing of the day is worked out well in advance. A sneak peek follows soon after the wedding, and the finished images and film arrive in a personal online gallery within 12 weeks. A full day usually produces 400 to 500 images, though that total can move up or down. For something different, 35mm film and Super 8 can be added to the digital coverage. Can we book photography without video?
Yes. There are three photography-only packages of six, eight and ten hours. Video can be included instead through the combined packages if you would like both on the day.
How many photos will we receive?
A full wedding day usually produces 400 to 500 edited images. Your total will shift with the hours you book, how the day runs, the conditions and your guest count.
How long until our photos and film are ready?
You can expect a sneak peek within a few days of the wedding. The finished photos and video are delivered to a personal online gallery within 12 weeks of the event.
Is drone footage included?
Drone footage is part of the combined photo and video packages, subject to the weather and the location. The team will confirm whether your venue is suitable when you plan the day.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Dates go to the first couple to sign, so a signed contract and a $1,000 deposit hold your day. The final balance is due two weeks before the wedding.
