About Kirk Willcox Photography
Kirk Willcox is a Gold Coast wedding photographer who has called the city home since primary school. He studied film and television at Bond University, and that training still shows in how he works: he watches for good light, composition and movement, and for the small in-between moments that are easy to miss. His images sit in a refined, editorial style with a slightly fashion-led feel, though the day itself stays relaxed. Couples can expect a fun and easy approach, with no stiff posing. With more than 10 years of photographing weddings behind him, he also helps shape the photography timeline and run sheet, so the day flows and you can stay present with your guests. Bookings are capped each year, which leaves time for every couple. Anyone wanting a nostalgic, artistic finish can add 35mm film photography. Two extras round out the service. Handcrafted albums come in leather, eco-leather, linen or wood, with custom finishes such as raised foil lettering, and wedding magazines are sold in sets from 2 up to 20. There is also a wedding content creator package, with up to 8 hours of coverage on an iPhone and raw videos and photos delivered within 24 hours, ready for you to share or edit.
