About Event Video Production
Event Video Production is a Gold Coast company built around corporate events: conferences, AGMs, hybrid meetings, seminars, product launches and gala dinners. Owner Silvis trained in film and has more than ten years behind the camera, and he is on site for most productions. A typical conference job uses two cameras, one on the presenter and a wider one on the stage, along with a separate recorder for the slides. Sound comes straight from the venue's desk. Larger programs can add more cameras, panel and audience question coverage, vox pops with attendees and a highlight reel for use after the event. Live streaming is a big part of the work, and it can link people in the room with those watching remotely. Each stream has a bonded 4G backup and a recording made on site, and the gear is tested before doors open. Microphones, PA, screens and technical crew can sit in the same scope, so filming, streaming and AV are planned together. The crew grows with the job. A small stream may need only Silvis, while a large conference can call on 10 to 15 freelance specialists, including camera operators, sound engineers, drone operators and photographers. Send an enquiry with your date, venue and program for an itemised quote.

Frequently asked questions
Will the owner be at our event?
In most cases Silvis runs the production himself. If two events fall on one date, he tells you beforehand who will lead yours and remains your contact throughout.
What does a standard conference shoot include?
The usual set-up is two cameras, one medium shot on the presenter and one wide on the stage, plus a slide recorder and audio taken from the sound desk.
What happens if the live stream connection has problems?
Streams are planned with a bonded 4G backup and a full-quality recording made on site, and the equipment is tested before guests arrive so a fault stays out of sight.
Can we hire just a videographer for our event?
Yes. Half-day and full-day hire covers a videographer with camera, lighting and audio gear, and raw footage can be handed over on your own drive or sent by file transfer.
What do you need to know to prepare a quote?
Useful details are the date and location, indoor or outdoor, audience size, whether you want filming, streaming or editing, the final videos needed and any venue AV involved.
