About Mo's Desert Clubhouse
Mo's Desert Clubhouse is a live music venue on Central Drive in Burleigh Heads, made up of an industrial warehouse and a cocktail garden next door. Both can be hired for private events, and the team is happy to take on unusual ideas. The Warehouse has psychedelic murals from floor to ceiling, a large stage with a green room, and a concert-grade PA, backline and lighting rig. It holds 160 for cocktails or 100 seated, and its bar has four taps. El Ranchero is the smaller space, a licensed bar styled like a Spanish hacienda with vintage tiles, terracotta brick and a large timber deck. It takes 60 standing or 40 seated, has a stage for entertainment, and suits intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. For the whole Clubhouse, the door between the two rooms opens so guests can move through both, with room for 250 standing or 140 seated. The full-scale option is a carpark party, which extends the licensed area into the adjoining carpark behind festival fencing. It fits up to 450 cocktail guests or 200 seated, and you can add a second stage, pop-up bars, games or skate ramps.
