About Mermaid Waters Hotel
Mermaid Waters Hotel is a large local pub on the corner of Markeri Street and Sunshine Boulevard. Along with a bistro and sports bar, it has three function rooms and accommodation on site, and it takes corporate events, conferences and private celebrations. The Oriana room takes the most guests, at 300. It is arranged over three tiers with its own bar, and has three projectors and a pair of microphones, and a stage can be supplied if you ask. The Markeri room is the cosier option, holding up to 120 people. It has its own bar, a fireplace and a private balcony, plus a projector and two microphones. The Arcadia room takes 150 and is set up mainly for conferences, with two projectors and two microphones. Half and full day delegate packages are available, each with a tea and coffee station. For events, the kitchen offers platters and grazing boards, a plated alternate drop for at least 20 guests, or a buffet for at least 30. Drinks can run as a package, a tab or a cocktail on arrival. Had a pleasant stay with my children this weekend. Staff were amazing, let me check in an hour early and an hour later. Clean and comfortable room. Food at the pub was yum, and we loved the buffet breakfast.
