About Holy Ship Restaurant & Bar
Holy Ship Restaurant & Bar is set across two 1970s timber trawlers, Austral Eagle and FV Havana, that have been restored and permanently moored at Marina Mirage in Main Beach. Because they stay tied up, guests get the deck and the breeze without leaving the berth. The vessels have seating on both upper and lower decks, with timber tables, bean bags and views across the Broadwater and the marina. Between them they hold up to 100 people, and a function can take one boat or both. Layouts are flexible. A long table works for a seated lunch, while grazing or cocktail-style service suits a birthday or engagement party where people move around the decks. The menu is built around local seafood, with oysters, prawns, bugs and platters, alongside ribs and pizza. Custom food packages and drinks packages are offered for events. The venue is family-run and handles birthdays, engagements, client events and end-of-year parties. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers, and confirm guest capacity for the vessel you'd like.

Frequently asked questions
Does the boat leave the marina?
No. Both trawlers are permanently moored at Marina Mirage, so there's no sailing and no seasickness, just the water views.
How many people fit on board?
Up to 100 guests across both vessels, with separate seating on the lower and upper decks. Ask about capacity if you only want one boat.
Can we book the venue privately?
Yes. Functions can take private use of one vessel or both, depending on your numbers.
What food is available for a function?
Seafood leads the menu, including oysters, prawns, bugs and seafood platters, with ribs and pizza too. Custom food packages can be arranged.
Is it suitable for a stand-up party?
Yes. The decks can be set up for grazing or cocktail-style events as well as long-table dining.
