About Gainsborough Greens Golf Club
Gainsborough Greens Golf Club is on Halcyon Drive at Pimpama, at the northern end of the Gold Coast. It has an 18-hole course, a driving range and a clubhouse with a lounge, a pro shop and a dining area facing the fairways. Functions take place in one room that you have to yourselves. It holds 100 to 120 guests at the upper end, with the exact limit set by the catering you pick. Room hire includes black table linen and chair covers, a tea and coffee station, an 85-inch TV, a projector screen, a microphone and a speaker. This setup makes it a practical choice for conferences and company events. Daytime functions run from 8am to 4pm on weekdays, and evening functions from 6pm to 11pm between Monday and Saturday. Sunday hire is not offered, and evening bookings need at least 60 guests. The kitchen covers everything from platters and lunch spreads to canapés, buffets and two or three plated courses. Outside food is not permitted, and neither is BYO alcohol, as the clubhouse is fully licensed. Canapé packages are $29, $35 or $38 per person, the roast buffet is $43, the barbecue buffet is $45, and plated menus are $53 for two courses or $66 for three. A $500 deposit confirms the booking.
Food
Buffets feature a choice of roast meats or barbecued rump with salads, and plated menus offer squid, sirloin, barramundi and pork belly. Dietary needs should be raised before the function, ideally two weeks ahead, and the kitchen cannot guarantee allergen-free dishes.

How late can an evening function run?
Guests should be saying farewells by 10.30pm, and the room must be clear by 11pm. Anything finishing later attracts a labour charge of $250 for each extra hour or part of one.
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
No, neither is permitted. The clubhouse is fully licensed and caters every function, and gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, sometimes with a surcharge.
