About Lagoon Beach Club
Lagoon Beach Club is the poolside bar and restaurant at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, on Manor Circle at Hope Island. It trades day to day as a casual lagoonside spot, and you do not need to be staying at the resort to come here. The venue spreads over two outdoor decks looking onto a sandy one-acre saltwater lagoon. Palm trees and shade umbrellas surround the seating, so this is a space for warm-weather gatherings rather than an enclosed function room. For events, the resort offers it for private functions and showcases, either afternoon or evening. The lower deck can be taken exclusively, and the resort's published capacity runs to 200 cocktail style. The events team can arrange outdoor audio-visual support, including sound, lighting and custom staging. Theming and branding are also possible, which suits product launches, pop-ups and company activations. The everyday menu leans on Australian seafood, with chilled prawns, oysters, prawn rolls and a cheese and charcuterie platter. Drinks run to sparkling wine, champagne, cocktails and mocktails, poured at the bar on the deck. Function catering and pricing are worked out with the resort's events team, so send an enquiry with your date and numbers.

Do we need to be resort guests?
No. The venue is open to the public. Swimming in the lagoon and pools is limited to resort guests, residents and people holding a Resort Day Pass.
What can be set up for sound and staging?

Lots of healthy options. Nice view of the Lagoon. But not suitable for a quiet lunch date. Very loud and busy and most customers were dressed in swim attire. Great service.
