About Coomera Tavern

Coomera Tavern is a local pub on the corner of Coomera Square in Upper Coomera, in the northern part of the Gold Coast. Beyond its everyday bistro and sports bar, it runs functions across three separate spaces. The Function Room is the smallest of the three, seating 40 or holding 100 for a cocktail party. It joins onto a deck, so guests can move outside in warm weather, and a TV lets you run a slideshow from a USB stick. The Bistro can be closed off for a private event, with room for 120 seated or 250 standing. Bigger again is the Sports Bar, which takes 300 cocktail style when booked as an 18+ event, with a beer garden, its own full bar and a dance floor. Food comes as share platters, each enough of a snack for 10 to 12 people. The range runs through skewers, antipasto, seafood, sliders and sandwiches, and a vegetarian option is available. All food and drink must come from the tavern, though you are welcome to bring a cake. Drinks can run on a bar tab with limits you set, and wristbands can be supplied. Groups of 20 or more can instead choose a three-hour package at $45 or $65 per person. No room hire is charged. A redeemable deposit secures the booking, and a minimum spend applies to the full private spaces. Live entertainment is welcome, and the team can help you find local acts.
