Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise sits on the Gold Coast Highway where Surfers Paradise meets Broadbeach, about 200 metres from the sand. A G:link tram station is right beside the hotel and there is parking on site. The Grand Ballroom tops the range, on the main tower's ground level, formed by joining the Norfolk, Kauri and Cypress rooms. Together they hold 580 for cocktails, 320 at a banquet or 300 with a dance floor. Norfolk on its own takes 450 standing. Mid-sized groups have the Phoenix Room, with natural light and a balcony above the gardens, for 130 standing or 90 at a banquet. Monaco II takes 100 for cocktails or 80 seated, and a poolside setting handles 250 standing or 120 seated. For something smaller, Balthazar is a wine-focused dining room for 30 standing or 16 at the table. The non-denominational chapel in the landscaped garden seats about 60 for a ceremony, and receptions can follow indoors. Wedding packages come as elopement, cocktail, plated or buffet options, each built around four hours of room hire and a beverage package. The larger packages add a stage, dance floor, styled tables and a night in an ocean view suite for the couple. The events team also runs conferences, cocktail parties, banquets and end-of-year parties, with a meetings manager as your contact.
