How Quiz Rooms Actually Work

Anyone in Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach or Miami after an active quiz room will end up in Surfers Paradise, where both of this region's games are based. That makes group size and occasion the real deciding points, not the suburb.

Choosing between them from around the region:

Large numbers: Prison Island Gold Coast on Cavill Avenue can run 32 teams of two to five together.
Smaller parties: Hijinx Hotel Surfers Paradise takes groups of up to 30, with packages starting at eight guests.
Budget: Hijinx starts From $23 per person, and Prison Island has no headline price to compare it with.
Booking: groups under 20 buy Prison Island tickets the usual way, while larger groups use a dedicated enquiry form.
Drinks: the Hijinx bar pours cocktails, tap beer and wine, and Prison Island's reception has a bar as well.

The bride or groom plays free at Prison Island, which helps with a hens or bucks budget.
Hijinx names hens and bucks parties, birthdays and teen parties among its bookings.
Prison Island has birthday options for all ages, with a free ticket for the accompanying adult.
Larger Hijinx packages add beverage packages and finger food for a longer celebration.
