Christmas Party Venues in Southport

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

Southport's two Christmas options split neatly by scale. Southport Golf Club can take a whole company in its clubhouse, while the Function Room @ Ferry Road Tavern suits a team of up to 70. Both serve food from their own set menus.

Work organisers can narrow it down with these points:

Numbers: Southport Golf Club takes about 220 seated or up to 500 standing in the full clubhouse; Ferry Road Tavern takes 55 seated or 70 standing.
Mid-sized teams: the golf club's Poinciana Room holds 70 to 80 standing or 50 to 60 seated.
Presentations: both have screens, with a projector in the tavern room and a connectable screen on the golf club's Terrace.
Food: canapés from $38 per person at the golf club and from $20 per person at the tavern.
Drinks control: Ferry Road Tavern offers packages, a bar tab or a cash bar.

The Poinciana Room is on the upper level with air conditioning and an outlook over the 18th green.
Doors open straight onto the open-air Terrace, which works with the room or by itself.
Menus cover canapés, walk-and-fork dishes, platters and plated meals, with gluten-free and vegetarian choices.
Companies often add a golf day, with catering, competitions and a presentation after the round.

The Function Room sits apart from the main bar, with a private bar and its own toilets.
Long tables and a head table facing the screen appear in photos of the room for business events.
Choose canapés at four, six or eight pieces, or a two or three course set menu.
Packages need at least 20 guests, so confirm your final count before committing.
