About Peter Crichton Photography
Peter Crichton has run his photography business on the Gold Coast since moving north after studying photography, first through a Bundall studio with a team of part-time shooters and now working from home. His work covers weddings and corporate events, alongside commercial shoots and head shots. Wedding coverage comes in two forms. Premium packages suit couples who want a fuller record of the day. The Second Weddings Only packages were created for couples who would rather spend their time with guests than on a long photo shoot, and who want enough good images for an album, not thousands of frames. That shorter format runs for two, three or four hours and moves through up to five stages: an optional pre-ceremony shoot, the ceremony, family groups, the bridal party and the reception. Most of the ceremony is shot candidly while Peter stays out of the way, positioning himself to catch the arrival and the reactions of family and friends. Family groups are kept moving so guests are not left waiting. For businesses, he photographs corporate events, with a portfolio showing presentations, stage moments and trophy handovers. These bookings are quoted rather than priced from a list, so send an enquiry with your date, location and the kind of function you are planning.

Frequently asked questions
What is a second-wedding package?
It is a shorter wedding booking made for couples who want a good album of the day without losing hours to photos. Coverage runs for two, three or four hours.
How many images come with the shorter packages?
Peter's second-wedding packages come with a set number of high-resolution images, growing with the hours booked. He sends the detailed package list after you enquire with your date and location.
Does he photograph corporate events?
Yes. Corporate events are a regular part of his work, and his portfolio has a dedicated collection of them. Each booking is quoted individually once he knows the details of your function.
How does he approach the ceremony?
Most of it is shot candidly while he keeps a low profile. He moves to useful positions for the arrival and family reactions, with only a quick set-up shot at the certificate signing.
What should we include in an enquiry?
Give your wedding date and location so availability can be checked. Peter then sends the package details and follows up to talk through your plans for the day.
